Welcome to Declaration of Independence 250 as we celebrate the 12 months that lead up to The United States 250th Birthday on July 4, 2026.
Our country was founded upon the idea that there are Universal Truths that are true for all people at all times everywhere. And that the Creator has revealed those truths in the “laws of nature” and through the Bible and it’s commands and principles.
A bedrock principle is that “Our Rights are Self Evident and they come from God”. God gives these rights, not government. The only legitimate purpose of any government is to “protect these God given rights”.
The United States has experienced a 60 year “cultural and moral decline”. Politicians, Professors, Schools, and Community Leaders are impotent to deal with the root cause of the problem. At it’s core, it is spiritual – “we have forgotten God.” We have forgotten God both as individuals, and as a country.
The church’s voice is desperately needed in society and in the civics space. Not to take over the controls of power, but to remind people and leaders from where we have come.
That is the goal of this Declaration of Independence 250 Initiative– to train pastors, churches, and people of faith in the biblical roots of our country’s history and in the biblical principles of freedom and liberty.

That among these are; life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness”
